Fish Tandoori |

The Fish Tandoori is an Indian recipe of marinated fish with spices, cooked in a tandoor, a traditional clay oven. However, most modern recipes use a traditional oven or grill for cooking. Here’s a basic recipe to prepare Fish Tandoori:

  • 500 grams of fish (of your choice), cut into cubes
  • 1 cup of thick Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, black pepper, and red chili powder.
  2. Add the fish to the bowl and coat it well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Arrange the fish cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and golden brown.
